Having held a number of senior positions in leading sport and leisure organisations, Tim and his partners have an advanced understanding of the day to day challenges facing service providers and event organisers. Most recently working for the national events agency EventScotland, Tim led the Programme Management Office for The 2014 Ryder Cup, which was hailed by commentators, media and public as being ‘the best-organised ever’.
Prior to this Tim worked as a consultant for 7 years, firstly with PMP and then as Founder and Director with The Sport and Leisure Consultancy. He also has extensive experience working as a senior manager for a local authority and as Operations Manager for Scotland with Bannatynes Fitness. Tim’s extensive experience provides clients with valuable comfort that they have hired a professional who has done the job and confidence that solutions will be practical, realistic and effective.
Tim is Prince2 practitioner qualified, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and regularly contributes to the national debate on industry policy. He also lectures on sports planning and events management, regularly presents at national conferences and is an active member and volunteer of several community sports clubs.
